It supports the Welsh Government’s commitments to:

The scheme considers a whole house approach to home energy efficiency improvements. This helps to tackle harder to treat homes where the impact of fuel poverty tends to be most severe.

The Nest scheme is managed on behalf of the Welsh Government by British Gas. Energy Saving Trust is a material subcontractor of British Gas.

British Gas

British Gas is a British-owned company. As part of the Centrica Group, they provide gas, electricity and home repair services to millions of customers in Scotland, Wales and England.

Energy Saving Trust

The Energy Saving Trust is the UK’s leading impartial organisation helping people save energy and reduce carbon emissions. They do this by providing expert insight and knowledge about energy saving, supporting people to take action, helping local authorities and communities to save energy and providing quality assurance for goods, services and installers.

Nest Annual Reports

Nest reports annually on the household energy saving advice and energy improvements provided by the scheme during the previous financial year.

These reports detail how many homes have been supported during the year, as well as the average savings per household. It also details the partnership and community work we do.
