Welcome to Nest

Welcome to Welsh Government's Warm Homes Nest scheme. The Nest scheme is part of our strategy to reduce fuel poverty in Wales by helping to improve the energy efficiency of homes.

The Nest scheme aims to increase the energy efficiency of a property, which not only helps to reduce energy bills but also provides increased comfort and improves health and well-being. Importantly it also helps to reduce the likelihood of a household living in fuel poverty in the future or suffering the ill effects of living in a cold home.

Since 2011, Nest has provided free home efficiency improvements to those most likely to be in fuel poverty, including low income and vulnerable households and over 29,000 homes have benefitted. The Nest scheme also supports access to free independent advice and support to help householders living in Wales and over 98,000 householders have received advice and support during the seven years the scheme has been running.

If you are struggling with your energy bills, I would encourage you to speak with Nest on Freephone 0808 808 2244 to see how the scheme may be able to help you.
